I bought my 240 without a stereo...turns out...the guy who owned it before my cut off the factory harness...I'm clueless as to where the wires go. The stereo i just bought came with a harness adapter...will the colored wires match up for easy splicing or not?? Any ideas would be extremely helpful...thanks

First download the above service manual. It will have the wiring diagram with all the wire colors. It is in the "system_w" section on page 7 or 8. Hope you are familiar with how to read wiring diagrams.

If the old harnesses have been cut off, you will either need to get new stock harnesses and splice them on so you can have something to plug the harness from the radio in, or direct splice every single wire from the radio to the car.

That manual was for 89-90 S13, so even if you can download it, it wouldn't be guaranteed to be the same. You'll need the S14 manual here:http://www.zeroyon.com/TheSite/techservice.html
