missing bolts!!

I was wondering if anyone has heard of any engine bolt kits for the ka. I am missing some various bolts and i know they make them for other vehicles i just haven't been able to find them for the ka.

easiest thing to do is go to the junkyard & grab what you need.

most of them are just metric bolts you can get at a hardware store.

another option is to figure out the thread/pitch/length (most of ours are M__ x 1.25) & get the ARP equivalent if you want to have some nice ones.

As for bolt kits, no - I haven't seen any for the 240sx. z32 guys, on the other hand, have a crazy expensive "all coated/chromed/aluminized/whatever" bolt kit. yum yum yum.

ya chrome is most expensive...ace will have what you need just make sure to bring the bolt with you

One addtional comment if you are going to purchase new bolts from a hardware store ect.

Not everyone is aware that bolts come in differant strengths. For US bolts it's grade 3, grade 5, grade 8 etc. Not sure how metrics rate them, but be sure you use a strong enough bolt for the job at hand.

You would not want to use 99cent store hardware to hold your seatbelts in place.

Thanks for the help, i was hoping i wasn't going to have to match up the bolts because that's what i've been doing anyways. It looks like i'm going to end up shopping through an arp catalog. I'm doing a turbo build and going cheap on whats holding the thing from grenading isn't in my plans.

i always found it funny how i end up with so many spare nuts and bolts. in about half a year, i've gathered almost a milk carton-full of extra hardware. what's more, i can never seem to figure out where they go. i don't see anything missing bolts or nuts. maybe i just replaced them all or something...
