I have a 03 Spec V, I can shift normally up to 4th gear, but if I shift to 5, 6, or reverse gear the shift knob pops back to the middle, to either 3rd or 4th.About a week ago my exhaust line broke off at the flange connecting the cat line to the muffler.Could this be engine or transmission mount failures ?

Found the problem, clip that holds the bottom transmission cable in place had popped out and neatly fallen next to the cable, put the clip back in, everything works fine now !
