i guess after 8 years of crappy luck i see that all as a utopian idea on love

i just stick with my cars and music , im fairly well off

...and maybe motorcycles , looked at a beull and a Vrod today ..awesome

stone dude you gotta give love a chance bo, come on!! i know you have had bad luck , we all do sometimes we don't find that person in the time frame we want to and wanna give up,but your car its not gonna be there when things get tough or when you whole world crashes from under you!!!! yeah love can hurt,but that is a lesson in life. there is someone out there for you, you just have to be willing to find it. someone out there is waiting for you to come into her lifeand she won't break your heart. nothing is wrong with being single i will admit that right now for the next month or some thinglike that i don't wanta realtionship or atlaest i don't think i do but anyway . love is the most amazng thing. you just gotta give it a try. now i am not trying to tell you how to run your life or anything i am just saying don't be so hard about everything. you ahve help me now i am just trying to help you:angel

well its the thought that counts and for tham im greatful ..unless it falls im my lap like tinos mom im not gonna do anything , too much damn work for what happens in the end

the spot i occupy in life is to help others , for a guy that doesnt find himself in any meaningful realtionships i find myself helping others with marrital problems and all them other relationship problems , have them come over for a few beers lay a couple of sermons on them and BAM , problems solved .

lol well i am sure oneday a girl will change your mind and you will wanna spend all your time with her and your life will revovle somewhat around her. you do give pretty good advice so i see why they come to you, but maybe one day a girl will come to you and not want your advice but something else

you know what? i like people being POSITIVE! negativity does you no good. it does not help you to become happy, it does not help you to find love, it does nothing but bad to ya. i just wanna say that sometimes we just gotta keep taking chances. i know we all have certain standards when it comes to Mr/Mrs right, but we are not to exclude all possiblities. taking a chance might be scary at times, but who knows what comes out of it?!

i mean i have had bad experiences in this field too, but do i give up on it? no. Do i think all MEN are mean and selfish? no. i just have to keep trying, putting efforts into it, and hope for the best. call me naive all you want, but if everybody hopes for the worse, nothing will ever get better.

yah , ive been told im very negitive , also been said i need to "brighten up"

wasnt untill recently i had anything to be posivitve about , things turned around after the crash was overwith so life isnt too bad anymore

the way the past 22 years have gone is what got me this way , being negitive kept me prepared for the worst case problem , things dont go like that anymore so now i can chill and enyjoy life

anyway im probabaly giveing too much info away here

no i get like that too, i can tell you all i want about being positive, but sometimes i just cant help but being upset and negative too.

being prepared for the worst is a good thing, but always be optimistic is better. always be prepared for the worst, but hope for the best.

it's easier said than done, we just have to keep trying!

hey maybe to make you feel better, i am not even a citizen nor english is my first langauge, but i am here all by myself without any family to get my education, and think about before i even got here 3 years ago, i could not talk to a english speaking person without freaking out and saying the wrong things. and think about i am a minority and all, and people like to stereotype, so it's not easy for me either to be here. and i dont have that many rights here either, so you have it a little easier, hope that makes you feel better

sorry dees , damned alcohols softening me up ..my appologies dees , had too much going on , liver tests came back good so im getting back to the old ways , started laying off the bottle too ...didnt realize how bad i was till i re read this thread , i think paulie could have stomped me if he knew of my weakend state ..thanks for setting me stright again, combine me girls and alcohol and i guess i get all soft and become the next guest on some sappy "mommy beat me" talk show

when the hell did you move to florida?

and from this point on i wont drink and surf nico , looks like bad things are happening

Sorry to hear that HKC , i think you can gain citizenship by marrying a american , im not doing that much this weekend outside working finaceing on a GTI ...J/K

so your over here on a education deal ? does that mean youll be going back to hong kong after schools done or do you want to stay here? its hard being away from the fam , but its cool too , ive been away for 4 years now , kinda nice doing whatever the hell i want ,drinking and partying as much as i want , just whatever ..everybody has to leave the nest sometime i guess

hehe....lots of my friends told me that, marrying an american to become a citizen, but the thing is that if i do that, i would be a stereotypical Asian woman....lots of them on base......j/k

leave the nest..ehhe...i guess we do need to, and some of us never leaves the nest, and become a little too dependent and never has the chance to see the world....there is so much more out there than a little state!

I think i have just been away from my home for far too long, i have been going to other countries ever since i was 15, and i am not even close to finishing my education, so it's gonna be a long time before i will actually be back with my family! and i am an only child...so i am spoiled at some point, and being all over the world has taught me how important family is, and how important family values are to me.

yea i am here on a visa, meaning if i dont go to school, i have to leave! unless i get hired by someone, and file a residency, then i can stay here as long as i want...but other than that...i am screwed if i drop out of school! eheh..

hehe..i wish, but i hope though! i know i might sound like i dont have confidence or something, but seriously, it's not that easy to suceed here in the states where intelligent people are everywhere, college graduates are everywhere, minorities are everywhere! other than the fact that 70% of the workforce is white, only 30% of the workforce is made up by blacks, asians, and hispanics (men and women), it's not that easy to get a job here especially now, we are at war, 911 threatened us....etc.....
