Never should have sold her....

Had a couple problems...frame rust, bad rings, huge dent in the door and rear quarter...sold it for $200. Now the bank LOST the check when I deposited it, so I'm out the money.

So...no matter how much you want to drive your 240 off a cliff sometimes, keep it. I wish I did.

I just thought that needed to be said.

A bank just lost it? Call the manager of the bank and complain. If they don't help, just keep asking for next person up until someone helps you.. seriously, you can't let them get away with that. It's their JOB to keep your money safe.

Thank you Boy Wonder thats just what i was gonna say...seriously man, that is some BS. Incidentally, you coulda got a bit more I think than $200. BTW i miss my 240 too and its just in storage for the winter.

I've been contesting it since I deposited it...my claim is being investigated currently. What happened was I deposited the check at the ATM. The error occured at the ATM, I guess the machine process the deposit correctly. Of course, it will take anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months to figure out they say. Fleet sux.....

u need better service than that. Go down to your bank and speak to someone in person. Threaten to change banks on them, that may speed up your process.

Indeed; Fleet does suck... They suck A55 in fact. i dropped them a long time ago and i would recommend to anyone else, Do the same. Switch banks IcePik or watch your bank statements very carefully.
