-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------EF & EC – page 139 Step B1) check voltage between ECM terminal 25 and ground.voltage: Engine speed is less than 2400 rpm: Approximately 0V Engine speed is more than 2400 rpm: Battery Voltage--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AND THIS PAGE SAYS….

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------EF & EC – page 157 TERMINAL 25 – S.C.V control solenoid valve Engine is running – Approximately 0.7V Engine speed is about 2000 rpm. – Battery Voltage----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is this a misprint? Anybody know why the voltages are different?

i believe all fsm is trying to say is that under approximately 2000 rpm s.c.v. solenoid is not active and above approximately 2000 rpm s.c.v. solenoid is active.

if you have anything higher than 0.7v under 2000 rpm = problemif you have anything less than B+ above 2000 rpm = problem

solenoid either actuates or it doesn't.

wouldnt put too much thought in the variation

I'm confused, I thought the scv solinoid was actuated "ON" causing a vacuum at < 2400 rpm. The vacuum line is connected to the B port on the scv soleonid. When the vacuum is on the swirl control valve accuates and closes the valves in the cylinders. Correct?

I will have to check my ECU this weekend and see what the voltage really is. I don't feel a vacuum at all coming from my A port soleonid at any rpm. Maybe the soleonid only actuates at around .7 voltage?
