My 94 J30 has a misfire and im thinking its #3 b/c the spark plug is black. Ive changed the coil but it didn't change anything. Could it be the injector the problem?

You can check the fuel injector with an ohm meter. I don't know the correct value but someone on here will chime in.

To check the injectors, take a long flathead screwdriver, and place it on top of each injector. Through the screwdriver handle you should hear a constant clicking at idle -- that's the sound the injector makes while pumping fuel into the cylinder.

If there is an injector which doesn't sound like the others, which isn't clicking at a constant rate, then you have a bad injector. Nissan is notorious for bad injectors.

Good luck.

It should be 10-14ohms, then you are good. Also, if you are going to get injectors, don't be cheap, get a new unit, not a rebuilt unit. You can find new Bosch injector for under $100.
