Ever since i've bought my 240 last month i've had problems with cylinders not firing, or missing a bunch. It seems like every time i fix one, another starts lol.

But i got my car back together today, and i got all four cylinders going for the first time since i owned the car. But now, it's missing a whole bunch, barely have any acceleration. Also would it matter if i took the distributor out and the rotor spun just a little bit? could that throw anything off?

sounds like you knocked your spark timing a little off.
