I just got my "new" coils and harness and that did not help much, although it did smooth the idle out a tad.

I just noticed that my car is making the stumble/misfire noise primarily at cruise and idle.... IE in closed loop. It does not stumble at all under accelleration or throttle revving.

Has anyone ever seen a scenario where an O2 reading to an ECU bounces around dramatically, like from .1 volts to .9 sometimes showing 0 volts! I used the green wire that is the output to the ECU for my greddy gauge and hooked it up. The 02s were still bouncing but not as severely as before. Keep in mind the idle is perfect until my greddy o2 gauge sensor lights off, then everything goes to crap. I have a feeling its lighting off at the same time as the stock unit.

Is .1 to .9 a normal sweep? The o2 readings are all over the place. I am trying to get this ironed out so I can pull my trans out to fix the leak and whining noise its making.

Thanks - Evan

unplug the o2 sensor and see if it helps

closed loop should work exactly as you are describing. the o2 volts will bounce rich/lean/rich/lean b/c your ecu is using that data as feedback to run closed loop. .5V is stoich 14.7, so you should see your volts bouncing above and below .5V when you're in closed loop. this is comletely normal and its how closed loop works.
