Here's the problem. I did a 650km road trip. Before that and during the trip everything was perfect. The engine was running smooth as butter. Like a clockwork really. But when I was back in my town, literally 5 miles from my house the car started to misfire if I go above 3k rpm. After while it refused to go above 3k and when I reached 3k it just started huge misfiring. I was damn tired so I decided to leave her in the garage and deal with this s*** later. I want to point out that it was idling and running fine by itself. The problems were coming only when its revved. Today its not even starting. When I turn the key the engine wants to start but it runs like a tank or some other heavy machine, like its on 3 cylinders and its basically not running alone because if I remove my foot off the throttle pedal it dies immediately. What can it be? I believe its sucking air bad, but one friend of mine thinks its spark plugs  I will buy new sparkplugs tomorrow anyway, they are 20$ for the pack so its not a big deal, but what can it be of this does not fix it?

pull the codes. Sounds like a MAFS issue

Check the coil packs when you change the plugs

It was, but during the trip home the boost went away. I hate when such small problems occur. I thought "oh god damn it, I guess some pipe got loose and it have boost leak. I will fix it when I get home.", but I couldn't find any problem on the whole turbo loop. I was looking for 2 hours at least and every thing was ok. Everything is tight as teen girl's p****. Actually it boosts fine but its too late and it builds the boost very slowly. The boost controller has very strange readings - sometimes its just plain 0.00, then its 0.10, sometimes its 0.50-0.60. Before the problem it was reading steady 0.75 and when on full boost 1.05. Now it goes to 1.05 only when it boosts on around 5-5.5k rpm. Before the problem it was tunned to boost on 3400-3500 rpm. And you remember my topic about the recirculating valve right? I liked its pigeon like sound so it was set very loose, I've left it on the position just before the moment when the car idles bad, it was just fine but I've heard it very often. Like 4 out of 5 times when I moved my foot off the gas pedal it squealed like a pigeon  Now I can hear it only when I move my foot off the gas ON 5-6k RPM or above. Which logically means there's no pressure so the valve have nothing to set loose (recirculate) which means there's no boost before that. What can cause this if its not boost leak? I think if its not boost leak then it may be f*** up settings on the boost controller  One friend of mine says its the wastegate but I can't say anything about that since I am noob with the turboed cars lol

pre-turbo exhaust leak, bad wastegate, REALLY bad turbo bearings.

The problem escalated REALLY bad. Just look at this!! ->

I measured the compression of each cylinder and its 10-10.5 each. So I doubt its blown head gasket. What can it be? f*** up MAF? Blown fuel pump? :gotme Btw when its hitting the brick wall at 2k rpm my foot is floored the pedal. Its not like I am not giving it enough gas - its floored!

try cleaning out your maf, pull it out and check the heated wires out for anything on it, clean it with proper mass airflow cleaner, if that does not work, could be a failing ignitor chip, it could not be suppling a strong enough spark for the motor to run under heavy load

Have you tried filling it with gas? You're below empty...

Nah, its ok! xD The thing is I always fill for 10 bucks only lol so the pointer never moves away. I filled 'er up maybe 10 or 15km ago so there's enough fuel mate.

That video sounds like it has a bad coil(s) or bad ignition amplifier. Maybe a bad fuel pump as well.

I'll do a ECU diagnostic tomorrow. Are these things going to show up as error if they are screwed? The fuel pump won't show as error, I know that but what about the rest?

Nope, they won't show up. You have to follow the diagnostic procedures in the FSM

Reminds me of when I first got mine running. Finally found a ground strap going to the coils carrier was missing.

I've got two errors - 12 and 34. 34 says something about knock sensor. I don't even know how this thing looks lol.. let alone what role it has.

12 is the MAFS. That's the big one. The knock sensor won't make it do what it's doing, it just runs on the knock map, which reduces power. Follow the diagnostic procedure for the MAFS in the FSM, EF&EC 84

I did just the first part, with the connector test. Its working. The reading is not steady, I mean the value is changing all the time but its there, its not 0. I guess its just the MAF thats busted :frown:

There shouldn't be much fluctuation, especially at idle. Maybe a tenth of a volt +/-. Have you tried cleaning it?

Yeah when I cleaned the MAF I cleaned the connector too.
