Been awhile since I have been on this board.
Last year I posted about an issue with the moon roof shade not opening all the way when the temp gets cold.Does it a lot now.
I am taking in tomorrow to see about a repair. Also, I have noticed when I go through a car wash I get a water leak around the climate control blower motor, and its worse if the fan is running since it blows it across the passenger floor area quicker.
I may have never noticed if I would still have the factory floor mats in it at this time of year, but I put back in my weather-tech floor boots/mats which are plastic and hold water unlike the carpet that would have let it soak in and wouldn't have noticed as easily.I can see with a flashlight on the blower motor sponge seals and ducts connected directly to the blower fan water drips.
Any one else have this issue?
Not sure if its a body seam issue below cowl area.If I take a gallon of water and pour it into the grate area below windshield it does the same thing, so the theory of forced water only isn't it.

just an update
Dealer said there is a campaign out on the sun shade with a updated spring set up
All day repair-so many must have this issue but not enough for a recall.
So if yours does this, take it in, and even if does it again later you have a new complete unit with warranty.

Rajung - Do you happen to have a link to the sun shade spring set up campaign?

Let me look and see if I got any repair paper work given to me at the time.
I dont have a number but maybe on my paper work.
I always keep that stuff, so if I got one I still have it.
As a note. Its been very cold here for awhile, it works 95% better than before.
Usually at the last 1/2" it slows down and goes in , no more half way and wait till interior warms up then skip its way in.
Really wouldn't even notice if I didn't buy the car new.

I checked and there is no number that I think relates to it
the called it a bulletin, so maybe its not covered if yours out of warranty.
Here is some of what was printed.

24078 found both sunroof sun shades would not open properly on vehicle.Found bulletin on this condition.Replaced both sun roof sun shades on vehicle as per bulletin. After replacement verified proper operation on sun roof and un shades. No further action is needed.OP code UQ16AA

Mine was 4 months out of warranty but I did make a note to them 11 months earlier about it and it was recorded but too warm outside to make it act up..

Also head gaskets, transfer case gasket and one seat heat switch all replaced. So far nothing else since I bought it new.
