I never played it, but I can tell you my impressions from marketing/videos/screenshots:
It's a budget game that'll be very short and not particularly memorable.
It's definitely a budget game, that's no guess. I can't speak from experience regarding gameplay, however.
I have read quite a few reviews that lauded it. But to me it seems like way too thin a premise for a whole game. As a side feature for a grander game, maybe. Not a whole game, though.
I've also read a lot of reviews that say the game is completely ruined by the combat sequences.

I've played it. It's a great game, fast paced action, f***ing beautiful visuals (especially on HD). Gun combat isn't the greatest but you're only required to kill a few times. Overall it's fun, though there are some areas that'll leave you stumped for a bit.
I'd recommend a buy, but get it used.
