I'm sure this has been asked before... but I couldn't find the answer and I have looked ALL OVER for this. So, any assistance would be AWESOME!

I have already done a DVD and Nav Lock bypass, but this would be amazing. I would cancel my XM radio so I can use this and Waze at the same time.

You will need a module that lets you hijack the video signal that goes to the LCD. You can then connect your phone to it. Audio should still work via Bluetooth. It was discussed in this thread: Video in?

Looks like you'll have to pay a bit to get this functionality:

http://naviks.com/c-1137501-video-camera-interface.html
$354.99

Plus, either one of these

http://naviks.com/c-1136681-smartphone- ... rface.html
$144.99 or $169.99

Not a lot of info on the Naviks website, though - but you could be probably one of the first M37 guys to do this - take the plunge and give us a review!!

TDOT (if I remember correctly) created an AWESOME "carputer" with his front navigation screen and replaced the middle console cup holder with another screen in the M35/45 forums and mounted a computer CPU under the back deck. He could probably tell you/show you how to hack into your video signal for the front LCD. (wiring is prolly a little different for the Y51 model vs the Y50, the M37/56 doesn't have the rear AV input connectors in the back of the middle console like in the M35/45, so you'll have to jimmy up some other way to get to the video signal.

Thank you for the links. This gives me a few ideas. I should have something done in the next month and I'll share my results.

So, I reached out to Naviks and I was told I need this... http://naviks.com/i-23432848-2011-2013- ... rface.html BUT they don't have it listed as available. Back to the drawing board.

I finally got my mirroring set up in my M45 2006. I already have the entertainment package which includes the nav/dvd and, rear display with rca jacks. This is what I used:

1) fire tv stick
2) lg gpad 8in. tablet
3) rca to hdmi converter
4) power converter 12v
5) zte mobiey (ATT mobile wifi)

I'm waiting on the VIM (vehicle in motion) cables to arrive to complete the setup. The only problem I have is the resolution. It cuts of just a small portion on the top of the screen on the front display. I tried recalibrating and changing the resolution on the fire stick, but no dice. Still happy with it :)
