Mirror tint

Has anyone put the mirror tint on the front windows to match the back ones on the QX4, im thinking about doing it but id like to see some pictures first if anyone has done it already.

EWWW...Mirror tint is Barf.. Get the proper privacy LIMO tint in the back and half tint in the front.. its illegal here to have front (driver and passenger) windows tinted...

Yeah it was a weird fad of the late 90ies. To be honest I thought the mirror tint on the RX looked cool, but to be fair I was like 12!

I have tinted my front windows and sunroof and windshield top (6"). Here are some crappy pics but I'll take some better ones soon.

35% front sides
5% windshield and sunroof

I never understood why the sunroof on the pathfinder was CRYSTAL CLEAR. I got toasted every bleeping time I wanted some light.

PS: Mirror tint does kinda blow.





PPS: Does anyone know how to moisturize those window moldings? You can see especially the driver's window bottom looks nice and old :/

Everyone I talk to says don't tint the sunroof a dark color the heat can cause the glass to bust.


Not sure what the stock tint on the rear of a 04 pathy is but I had my other windows matched and I am looking at getting 50% on the windshield.

My shop said 15% in the back but I'm not sold on that number.

My TL had a stock tinted sunroof and no problems. Right now I have to close the sunroof cover when it's sunny out because it's baking me. Also if I forget to close it in the evening, the next day my seats are burning!

Yours is not 5 %. I guess it depends where you live also. In Nc I can cook cookies on the dash in the summer.
