I used to spray some belt dressing on. In some situation it works very well. I know belt dressing is a temperary fix to a point the belt may need tension adjustment or a replacement.

They may have just finally broken in and are now at the final length. I agree with adjusting the tension, that should permanently fix the problem.

adjusting hte belts is easy

Engine off:

1. First, remove the cover (splash guard) under the front of the engine

2. Next, loosen the nut on the pulley with the loose belt...DO NOT remove the nut. This step must be done before trying to move the pulley up or down.

3. Find the bolt (hex head) that goes to the tensioner pulley and give it a 1/2 or full turn

4. Now, tighten the nut on the pulley (24-28ft-lbs)

It is easiest to do all adjustmetns from underneath the car.

Start car. If still squeaking, either you need to tighten the belt more or you adjusted the wrong belt. repeat steps above. At most, a few turns should be enough. Without a proper belt tension measurement tool, it can be difficult to know how tight your belt is.
