Recently I have been noticing on my altima that everytime I go from neutral to first gear my brake light turns on the dashboard then after 5 seconds the VDC Light Turns OFF then the Slip light turns on... I tried turning it off and on and solve it but then after a couple of minutes of driving and shifting brake lights turns on again and the rest follows stated at top. Does anyone have that problem? My car is 2 years old. Is there anyway of solving this? Hopefully its not a major problem.. thnx for all the help

first thing i would do is check your brake fluid, brake light usually comes on if your low

Thnx didn't know that. I'll bring it next week if this keeps coming back. Hopefully I didn't void any warranties.

Yeah, those things run like $250-$350, FYI.

I'm still under warranty I think. My mileage is 26506. So no out of pocket expenses. Right?

shouldnt cost you anything, they might give you a little sh** cuz of the Y-pipe (i think it voids warranty) but that wouldnt have affected a master break cylinder

you should be good
