I was just looking through the Android Market for new apps and ran across Minecraft. They have a free demo and a full version for $6.99. I played it for a few minutes and it seems pretty awesome, but i've never played the PC version so I don't know how it compares. I'm already hooked though so far :bigthumb:

At this point, It's merely a stripped-down version of the "big" game's Creative Mode, which is the lesser side of the game. The big game has "Survival" mode, which is the one with monsters, health, mining, etc. Creative mode allows you to build more easily but lacks the game's exploration-oriented side.

It also REALLY needs keyboard/trackpad support.

Despite all that, I am ecstatic about the ability to take some form of Minecraft with me on the go. I'm also happy to help support Mojang with my $7 even though I already own Minecraft.

It runs very smoothly on my OC'd G2.

I'm glad you posted this thread, as I hadn't realized it was available for devices other than the XPeria Play already.

Damn...no survival mode? Think I'll hold off on it for a bit.
