hey, theres an mine ecu for sell ebay and it has #E5 which is said to be use with 94 to 96 black top only but this guy selling the ecu said that it can work with sr20det redtop and i was wondering if its true or not ? so any of u guys think that mine ecu #E5 will work on redtop ??

I know that ECU #61 and 62 are interchangeable. If that ECU is for a Type X, then it wouldn't be.

#61 are for automatic transmission S13 sr's and #62 are for manual s13 sr's.... not really interchangeble

man, i know all those answers but the answer i'm looking for is will the mine ecu #E5 work on sr20det redtop. plz answer this question if any knows..

yea i saw that that too, it says it removes rev limiter, speed limiter etc..so whats the speed limiter on a stock SR, and what ca this ECU take you too? is it any good by the way?

uhhh, that was mine. its been sold already. at any rate, i talked to yury at heavy throttle, and he told me that the ecu would work with all s13 sr20det's but the 96-98 type X. it can work with that too, but alot of rewiring needs to be done. just thought id let you guys kno.

so wha u mean by all s13 is all 91 to 93 sr20det engines rite cuz s14 are black top and s13 are redtop. except for the s13 black top. ?? oh and is it plug n play or u need to do some wire work ? cuz theres another mine ecu on ebay besides urs and i was just wondering...
