what I don't get is how companies like Tesla and Fisker can get away with not having airbags, but it's not OK for Zonda?

Child-safe airbags in a Pagani? As fast as that thing goes they can't equip it with adult-safe airbags. Yo s*** is bugsplat!

I'd love to drive it too, but not buy it. Call me insane but for the same money, I'd probably buy a $150K Ford GT, a nicer tow vehicle....and a large vacation home.

You could just buy an Aston 777 and have some scraps left for a decent tow vehicle and skip the home since you'd want to live your life on the track anyway. ;)

So it needs advanced airbags, which are designed to keep small children safe in the event of a deployment?

Call me crazy, but I doubt you'll ever find a little kid or baby seat in that car.

^ agreed. Eh, its a Zonda to me. They are super fast, have a sound that makes me pee, and has the iconic 4 ended center exhaust. F and airbag. If your going 200mph anyways, an airbag aint doin s*** for safety.
