I was sitting here at work thinking about nothing and I started thinking about an idea I have had for a couple of years now. Everybody uses milk to wet their breakfast cereal, so you know the milk that is left over after all of the cereal is gone? I really like the taste of milk that is left over after I eat a bowl of friut loops. What if someone were to invent some sort of cereal flavored milk? Would anybody here buy it? You could have Friut loops flavor, frosted flakes flavor, cinnamon toast crunch flavor, anything you wanted. Give me some feedback.

Thanks,Mike

Dude, I so thought of this awhile back, but I figured I was nuts.

I don't actually like cereal, usually, it gives you cereal breath and makes me want to die (especially Chereos, ick)... but the milk afterward is almost worth it... damn...

Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Fruit Loops, Cocoa Puffs... the list....

I also thought about it, but I'm not ambitious enough to make/market it. I'm totally for the Golden Grahams and Cinnamon Toast Crunch though. Oh, and Lucky Charms!

Yeah, if somebody invents it and I find out it was a NCIO member, you owe me 10% of everything you make! I"m not really ambitious enought to market this idea either, but I'm glad to see that there are some people interested in drinking it.

Thanks,Mike

I actually just wrote an email to the Kellogg's Company asking them for more information on who to talk to about this idea. Who knows, maybe it will turn into something big.

Thanks,Mike

ive thought of that, because after cinnamon toast crunch the milk afterward is almost as good as the cereal itself,

ill try to just put cinnamon in milk tonight when i get home, and see if thats as good....

There aren't many things I hate worse than the milk left over after I'm done with my cereal. Maybe the cold, and Halo 2...but that's about it.

By the sound of things, though, it'd be a strong seller.

either that or itd be gross and everyone would be afraid to try it, like all of the pepsi and coke mutations.

edit: it is a great concept though, refining one of the most basic/healthy beverages out there, same idea as flavored water, and that blew up for a while.

Well what would the fun in that be? It kind of takes the satisfaction out of drinking the left over milk. Here you are having to eat a whole bowl of cereal just for a few ounces of a delicious treat at the bottom, giving yourself a feeling that you've accomplished something. You have concluded your breakfast, finished it off with a short few gulps of bliss. Now if you could buy that bliss in a bottle at your grocerie store, what would be so rewarding in that? That milk left over after your cereal would lose it's luster and just become another by-product, wasted by our own overindugence and self loathing. Only helping to promote the spread of obesity and childhood diabetes...Thankyou I say, thankyou for keeping us fat!! I make more money that way

See the key would be using that cearel flavored milk with the cereal. For awhile when I made ramen, I would strain it and then use that water to make ramen next time and kept that up. Made some really strong ramen. Grr,now i want cereal, you guys suck.

looneybomber has a point, think of all the wasted TRUE cereal milk. that would be a shame, this idea is much too powerful in the hands of man. perhaps we shouldnt medle with the gods of cereal milk.
