Once I made the mistake of referring to the G as my car. I promptly received a lecture on sharing, something like - she was more than willing to share her washing machine and dryer with me, in fact, she was even going to share her pots and pans, and the dishwasher and... I saw where this was going, blessed the G and asked for Heavenly intervention in preventing dings, scratches and flats on her watch. So far it's working.ACoupe wrote:Not to sound misogynistic, but my wife is banned from driving my G.With the way she drives, I simply can't put my G's life in her hands. She also stated during the first night with the car that "I'll never drive this car honey, I wouldn't know what to do".I agreed!
I don't know how they survive with only 2, poor guys.telcoman wrote:

This of course, means I have to pontificate a bit. Did you guys know that at it's resting state, most women's brains are working at 60-75% activity level. For guys, the brain at resting state (as in watching football game of NASCAR race) is between 10-20%. There's an evolutionary reason for this, but that would require a long-winded explanation in which folks like Jacko3, SVT Cobra, C-Kwik, Telcoman, and others would take me to task and then we'd all have rambling dissertations. So, we'll leave it at this for now.telcoman wrote:

Have you ever wondered how a woman's brain works?? Well, it's finally explained in one easy-to-understand illustration -----
Every one of those little blue balls is a thought about something that needs to be done, a decision or a problem that needs to be solved.

Which explains why my wife is always saying, "Are you listening to me?" And I'm always answering "Yes, ummm what'd you say?"W661335PF wrote:.. at it's resting state, most women's brains are working at 60-75% activity level. Excellent analogy telcoman... interesting that in the diagram they used blue balls, don't you think?telcoman wrote:A man has only 2 balls and they take up all his thoughts.

In the email I received all the blue balls move. I'm not sure why they do not move when posted here? Perhaps its a photobucket problem?Perhaps one of the geniuses here can figure out why?BigWill wrote:

My coupe just recently passed the 50k mark as well.
Beautiful scene.telcoman wrote:Today it is hibernating in the garage
i dont gett itt. how is it that you drive your car on 87 octane? hasnt that been known to retard timing thus lowering gas mileage and confusing the computer? if all that i have said is bs.. then i will start putting in 87 octane loltelcoman wrote:Today was an important day in the life of my G35
All miles on regular 87 octane by the way.
Still runs great!
Telcoman
Depends on how you drive. If you're like telcoman, you probably don't drive fast and hard. If you drive fast and hard that's where you start to run into problems with 87. I think the reason why the sedan can use 87 on a regular basis is because it weighs less than the coupe, therefore it doesn't have as much of a load on the engine. That's just a hypothesis.nismodan69 wrote:

“There are two very practical and human answers to the creation of man and woman. One is the man’s view; the other is the woman’s view. Are you ready? The woman’s view of creation is this: God made the man and looked at him and said, “I can do better than that,” and He made the woman. Now the man’s view is God made the beasts and man and then He rested. And then He created woman. And neither beast nor man nor God has rested since.”telcoman wrote:I think we need another forum here for the married old farhts to discuss wives, cars, and married life.
