My vert has 150k miles on it and a damaged engine... it still runs, but my biggest problem right now is my mileage. Before the problem, on a full tank I would get about 300-350 miles out of it... but now I get 215-250 miles. And living in California, where gas is at $3.51 and going up 5cents every week, I need my miles back!

Apparently I damaged the O-rings by letting it overheat for too long, so now im loosing compression and burning coolant. (as far as i know)

I think the cheapest (and better) thing to do, is the replace the engine. Since im in California, its going to be a pain having an SR or RB in there for a daily driver. So going with a KA and turbo (unless i can find a supercharger which ive seen) seems to be my only answer for getting milleage and getting some more power out of everything...

what sould I do? fix it, replace it

Drop in a low mileage KA24DE, turbo it when you have time/money.
