This is encouraging - thanks for sharing this. When they do a CVT swap do they replace it with a 2nd generation unit?morselicious wrote:Love my Rogue.I have a 2008 SL AWD. Bought 11/2007. She has on it 212,000 mi. I had the CVT changed at 98,000 mi under warranty. Other problems a/c compress seized at 140,000. And I have had a running problem with the fuel gauge. Looking to replace it with one from a 2012. Other than the regular, brakes, tires, and CVT fluid.
I'm on my first Rogue and relatively new to the forum, but it looks like the A/C compressor failures have been primarily the magnetic clutch. Doesn't appear to be too expensive and I've seen several posts that it was a DIY job.soccerfan wrote:2009 S. Purchased used with 57K on the clock.
CVT failed June 2014 with 108K on the clock, replaced under warranty.
CV boot failed Aug 2014, replaced Seprentine belt in July 2014.
Replaced rear brake pads July 2014, worn completely away.
I'm guessing fronts were done before I bought the vehicle, still
lots of meat there.
Power locks come and go intermittently.
Reading about a/c compressors failure scares me a little bit.
