Mileage out of a RB25DET

Of course, this isn't a reason people get the RB25DET, but just wondering, with a Walboro 255lph fuel pump, cat staying, and a brm 3" exhaust and a FMIC, what kinda mileage am I going to get, provided I don't floor it everywhere I go and keep the RPM's under boost.

Speaking of that, when does a stock RB25DET's Turbo start building boost, and when does it reach full boost?

And yes, I did a search, I only got a whole buncha versa's and KA's and SR's, no RB's?

you should be able to get pretty good numbers if you can stay under boost.. i'd say anywhere from 24-30mpg depending on everything that is on your car and how you drive it

That's cool, esp since I only got 21 mpg average out of my KA. But I knew it had oil issues, and something else wrong with it. Scary when I got better gas mileage out of my Jeep than I did out of my 240sx.

untuned will decreases your fuel mileage too.

Are you sure you're not running dangerously lean getting that kind of mileage? I've tuned my car to run right at stoich in the cruising cells, and I got 26mpg at best.

Thats why I said untuned, but I doubt Im running lean because the car has power all the way to rev limit, Next pay check Im gettin a power fc and tuned so I cant wait to see how much of a difference it makes. We will see how the mileage is after tune. I got 35mpg going from Phoenix to Palm Springs 75 the whole way. Going back I got around 28mpg.
