Mileage on delivery?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Just found out that the EX that the dealer will probably give me has 29 km's on it, isn't this a bit high? Looks like somebody test drove it already a couple of times. When I got my old car it only had 12 kms on it.

What do you guys think?

Mine had 83 miles at delivery. They had to pick it up from a nearby dealership and I took it on a 10 mile test drive.

That's comforting! This is only my 2nd car and was just a bit surprised. For some reason I keep imagining the people from the dealer taking that car to buy lunch, run a quick errand that's why it got to 29 kms.

Althoguh if you think about it, from the factory it should only have around 6-10 km at most, so where did the other 19 kms go to? Maybe a test drive here and there? Makes me paranoid coz when I test drove an EX I was flooring it, although the tester already had 1,100kms on it so it was probably a demo.

Don't worry about people flooring it early. Car's don't really need to "break-in" anymore like they used to.

It's good to take it easy for the first little bit, but even if you gun it early it's still ok.

Ours had about 30 Km's on'er.

They drove it to a shop to get the 3M Film put all over the Front-end.

Then they went and Gassed it up at a Service Station.

I'm not worried about the extra Mileage... the Car was perfect when we picked it up.

10 miles. And about 5 of that was because mine was one of the cars Inifiniti pulls and puts on their test track for QC. So basically the other 5 were incurred from transporting it on and off truck ramps.

Mine had around 150 miles on it. I was a little concerned about it, but it was the only one available in the area with the options I wanted. It had been on the lot for almost a year, so I guess it'd be expected to have more miles than average. It at least had the benefit of having a slightly lower invoice price, from before they went up $600 or whatever.

Mine had 23 KM. The dealer had the car for 110 days. I was told they brought it to the dealership from a compound, so 23KM is not a big deal for me.

300 miles!

Call it used but then, in the first week, I put 500 miles on it. No big deal if the car checks ok.

I don't think it was a demo coz it's been sitting on the lot for a year!

Had it been a demo, it would have had 1000s of mile on it.
