MIL light

SES light came on last night while wife driving. Checked all fluids-reseated gas cap-code read at Advance Auto - small evap error-disconnected + terminal,activated flashers for >10min-SES light still on.

2003 SL 80K miles,CVT replaced under warranty @ 52K. No driving symptoms to speak of. No smells.

? gas cap replacement maybe. Standard warning of upcoming CVT fluid change (30k interval coming soon)

Any ideas?

Could very well just have been a loose or in need of replacement - gas cap.

I would start there. Also, when my 2004 (not Nissan) vehicle did this, it took 3 days of driving for the code to clear itself - after I replaced the gas cap.

MIL light finally went out tonight after refueling with 10+ gals.
