Im considering parting out these items like the title says, and was wondering if anyone on the CA boards was interested, since they are off of my CA. Just let me know if anyone would be interested, and if it gets replies then i might consider actually letting them go.

The turbo is in good condition, no shaft play at all. The mani was on the car when i got it so it is unknown who made it, but it is custom made. The tial wastegate is fairly new aswell. here is a pic of it on the car

The reason why im selling it is because it came on the car, and i want to start closer to stock, to get to "know" the cars characteristics before all the power.

for a t2 flanged (stock flange) turbo with a normal t2 flanged bottom mount mani, you would need a divorced chamber dump pipe, and either remove, or weld open the internal wastegate, then cut the divorced chamber and weld on a flange for the wastegate

thats one way

another way (which may or may not hose your manifold) is to cut the flange, then weld in a piece of tube between the mani poipes and the flange and stick the wastegate flange on that pipe

on that setup, you would either leave the internal wastegate actuator disconnected, or weld it shut (better to just not connect it so you can sell the turbo later)

thats about the cheapest ways to do it if you want to keep the same manifold and turbo

is the flange just for T3? I have a T04, will the flange accomdate that (drilling is not a problem).also what size is the tial, the 38 2 bolt or the 40mm +4 bolt?

there is a CA guy locally running a stock CA witha HKS t4 set up in a ol escort or something, he runs allot of boost (like 20+) and grenades engines all the time, but it moves dam quick.. he work near/in the junk yards so he has access to engines dirt cheap (think 100 a short block)

If the price is right I might be interested in the whole package, if you could email me a price and specs on the turbo, I'm new to this stuff so I wouldn't know how much to offer you, plus I wouldn't want to offend, Thanks. My email address is [email protected]

Also, would that include the steel braided lines and down pipe?

why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why. oh yeah and why.

internal wastegate is soooo simple and comes on any t2 flanged turbo you should use on your stock manifold, so why mess with it? go man sized turbo run man sized wastegate on real exhaust manifold

Sean

p.s. insanely awesome turbo set up. why you want to sell that and go back to any t2 sized turbo is beyond me. I would try checking to see if any screws are loose in your head before continuing with that plan.

what are the specs on the turbo? This is an autoX/road racing car, so lag is my nemisis. I never really designed any of this around a T3/T4, but it depends on how that turbo spools.

Sorry for the gay question, but would the wheel sizes be on the turbo? Im not too sure, because the guy that sold me the car did not give specifics.

It's not a ghey question. No their not on there. How about this. What kind of boost were you running and when was it spooling by?

The truth is that i have not had the thing long enough to figure out all the electrical problem and what no. So i have not even had a chance to run it.

Gotcha. Well I've built everything on this motor/car around maximizing throttle response and keeping the lag down, and still hit 275rwhp.

The T3/T4 would kinda throw that out the window anyway.

forged pistons, .5mm overbored, high compression, SSAC equal length mani, currenty an S13 T25, soon to be an S15 T28. 3" turbo back exhaust, soon to be 2" hotside piping, core support mounted intercooler (look at my sig closely), 2.5" cold side piping, KA24E TB, port matched and polished intake manifolds and head, OEM HG, ARP headstuds, SDS EM4-F standalone, 4.364:1 rear end gearing w/a Helical LSD.

I still want cams (264's), and an aluminum driveshaft. The drivetrain will be done after that.
