I really didn't want to make a thread about this, but.....oh well.

So, I really considering getting these wheels, the rota p45r's.

After looking at this thread...

zer...age=1

I'm thinking that this set-up ----> 17x9+25 235/40 & 17x9.5+30 255/40 (hyper black color) would be nice.

I noticed that dammitboy said he ordered those from discount tire so I looked there as well. I don't know if im just seeing things or just not looking in the right places, but I couldn't find those there......the same goes for a bunch of other sites I've looked at so far tonight.

So, am I just better off contacting the North American distributor and getting a quote and trying to order from them? Or is there any place by any chance that offers those wheels in the sizes (and color ) that im looking for? Sorry, but after keeping an eye out for the past 2 weeks and after searching for the past hour and a half tonight alone, I haven't had much luck.

Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

Call Discount Tire first. Don't just go by what listed on their website. Discount Tire is not an authorized Rota distributor, so they don't advertise them online. But they are still a wheel and tire shop, so that doesn't stop them from ordering the wheels for you at wholesale price. Call 'em up and see what they say. Tell 'em you have friends who got their Rota's from Discount Tire in other cities...

If you get a price quote from Discount Tire, call Rota up right afterwards and compare the prices. I've seen too many ppl saying the got their Rota's this way to believe it can't be done. I refuse to pay WheelDude's prices. His mark-ups are waaaaay too high, IMO.
