might have an oil cooler leak? need some advice

can you make a video of how to replace the o rings on a 2003 nissan pathfinders oil cooler the engine oil cooler.? I think I have a leak from my oil cooler , it could be the oil filter itself. how ever if it is the oil cooler can I just slightly tighten the center oil cooler bolt to maybe by luck stop the leak?

There is a potential to make thing worse by over tightening. I did this a couple weeks ago and wasn't to bad. If you can get the parts, I believe any shop can do it for under an hours worth of labor.

You can try just tightening the bolt (17mm) and see if it stops, it might work for a little while it might start leaking again eventually...

I see what you mean about the tightening more trick, it may spread the cracked O ring more , how ever I looked at the video and its very tight in there , If I'm really lucky the next oil filtr change soon coming up it may be the oil filter itself has a leaking O ring?
