Through another Nissan/Datsun club here in CT, I might be able to buy a set of these:
Image

Rays Engineering. They're asking $300/wheel, 19x8.5 in the front, 19x9.5 in the back. I'm waiting to hear on offset, and they're willing to mount and balance for whoever buys them. I'm drooling and my pants are tight already. What do you guys think?

I really want to. I have to keep reminding myself that I need to find out what the offset is on them (the guy, who runs a shop, used to run the wheels on his '07 Z) so that I don't go, "YEAH! I'LL TAKE 'EM!" and then a week later go, "Oh, wait. It's like being in Mad Max, but I don't have spikes, only an easily-damaged rim."

Thanks dude but those are so light. Mine are super heavy. And they're more aggressive than mine. Those were my first pick, then Work wheels then my current ones

nothing special about the design but it's Rays and it has the nismo sticker! I prefer the nismo maxima's. $300/wheel is a good deal though.

Haha, sure thing! I went out and measured my wheels - I think right now I've got about an inch gap between the face of the tire and the fender... It's really hard to tell; it's cold out and I didn't feel like sticking my hand into slush.

If the offsets as stated here are accurate, I should be okay - it's going to stick out 0.6" more, both front and back. This'll be fun.

Wheels look great and if the offset is what AlexM posted then I think the stance would look SIC with a set of coilovers.

Hmm, I don't know, $300 a wheel seems kinda pricey to me.

I'm not sure. The guy's a CTZCC member, and he runs a performance shop over in Danbury, CT. He said he'll leave them in his office as long as I need to. Being that I just sent him a $1200 check and I'm looking at another $1k for tires, ETA could be a while.

On TireRack, I'm looking at Pirelli PZero's in 255/45/19... A set of four is $1068, though. I want a set of summer tires, but if price gets too bad, I may just have to go with some all-seasons. I haven't tried exploring other options with other dimensions.

Just picked up the tires for them. I had them shipped from TireRack to my Dad's house in MA. But I only had at my disposal my coupe. So fitting the tires in there was fun. Folded down the back seat, put the two 275's in through there - one sits on the folded down back seat, and one takes up much of the trunk. I put one of the 245's in the other half of the back seat, and the other 245 in the front. I look forward to fitting the narrower wheels in there after the big guys are on.

Weather's in the 50's today; might be putting the wheels on soon.

CAN'T WAIT. I bet mother nature will smile upon me if I put on summer wheels. As a show of good faith, she won't bring me any more snow. Right?
