Might buy 98 Max GLE

Hey guys, new to this forum. I'm thinking about getting my son his first car. I found this 98 GLE and was wondering what you guys think on price and such.http://hartford.craigslist.org/cto/1533084158.htmlI need to get something reliable and everyone says a Maxima. I will be doing any and all repairs to his car (which is not a problem) but I don't want to do much. I'm also wondering what I should be looking for as to common problems with this year, mainly so I can get the price down a little. If I do decide to get this I will be asking more questions on repairs or mods that he wants. Thanks so much, in advance, for any input you guys can give me.

The price is good, and the car looks to be in good shape. Check the maintenance records, fluids, and take it for a drive. The 4th gen Maximas are very dependable cars.

Thanks, that is what I'm looking for is how reliable they are and price range. I gotta go look at it this weekend if it stops snowing.
