a buddy of mine is selling his '99 blaster. he want $2700 but needs money bad and will sell it to me for $2000. the motor is rebuilt (has 5 gas tanks of time on it), bored .040 over, new clutch, exhuast, intake, rethnal (sp?) bars. supposively an extended swing arm, extra set of rear tires, and a few other things. it is in good shape and it is quick. the rear brake caliper doesnt work, he says he rebuilt it 4 times but once dirt gets in it it stops working. also it doesnt idle but he has this little kit to install to fix that.

i was thinking about getting a street bike but that more expensive plus i would get into more trouble with that and maybe kill myself. i figure if i get this i could have some fun and maybe sell it for a little more.

do u guys think its worth it with the mods done to it?

i really miss riding bikes, and if my parents had been able to keep the old vulcan around longer, i would have gotten my operating license for motorcycles in a heartbeat.

i'm not a big fan of the crotch rockets, but i love the feel of being on the back of a touring bike
