Here are some pics of my son's and my "winter" project that just hit the streets this past Saturday.



Here is what we did over the LONG "winter"

That is some quality work you guys have done, major props. Do you have any dyno numbers or quarter mile times. I assume you are going to drag it as you have the slicks and the safety loop. Looks real clean.

get a consistant number...We have run across a tech issue that has stumped us all. The car pulls strong up to around 7k then the timing retards to 0 degrees TDC. We finished the car last saturday and put some miles on it to break it in. The on the first dyno pull the car pulled strong to 7k then died. Started right back up and did the same on the second pull. On the third pull we had a timing light on the crank as well as monitoring the AEM EMS. The AEM showed a constant 38 degrees BTDC right up to the time the engine shut down BUT the timing light on the crank showed the engine retarding to TDC at around 6,900 rpm causing the shut down. We have tested the CAS, TPS and AEM and still no clue as to why the timing retards. Hoping its a software problem on the AEM but as of now we can't tell. The only bright spot is the fact the car pulled 425 RWHP at the 6800 mark with about 18-20psi so 500+ is very reachable when this mess is figured out.MaxDoc
