MIdnight purple

looking to get some midnight purple mixed up. does anyone have the colour code? can i go into your average body shop and get some mixed?
also is there variations of the colour? the one in the pic is what i want but i have seen a few other purple skylines that look close but the colour just doesnt pop.

The one in the pic looks like color code LP2 to me.

its LP2. could possibly be LP4 from the R34's based on the way the light is, but seeing as its on an R33 that picture is most likely LP2.
ive had body shops estimate 250 bucks for 2 gallons of LP2 plus reducer. more than enough to do two coats of base.

I was able to get away with just under a gallon, but my car also has a CF hood and no roof.

I don't have any pics in the sunlight, but LP2 is such an amazing color...






Sherwin Williams told me LP2 was also used on the Z32 for a few select years.

I absolutely love the Midnight Purple R34's. Its a sick color. Its also one of the only purples I like.

yea im looking for the one on r34s. its more of a lighter brighter purple than whats on stock r33s

I believe there were two midnight purples available for the R34. Pretty sure the codes are LP4 and LX0

I had absolutely no luck finding either of those colors, probably because the R34 was never offered stateside

I'm sure you could have the shop mix up something close tho, or maybe find it online?

RJ: you should find a vert shell for cheap. Then you could take your time doing the bodywork, paint it LP2(10X better than black) and swap all of your parts over
