Any interest in the midnight black grille for model year 2011? There are still quite a few of these left in the U.S.

Best I can do for now.

Yes I have access to all oem parts and realized there are a few midnight black grilles left in the country for the QX56.

i appreciate your photo. the angle makes it look chrome a little... :p

when you say "a few in the country",, are these no longer being made? you make it sound as f they are on the endangered species list. :)

from your opinion did these not sell well or are they just limited editions or something?

can you beat MSRP? and where are your grilles located?

and this is OT and i apologize, but since you say you can get OEM equipment, can you get the ALARM IMPACT DETECTOR 999M2-VW002? can you beat MSRP? you can message me offline if you would rather respond that way. ive a 2012 QX.

Well with ALL OEM accessories such as midnight black grilles, chin spoilers, rear deck spoilers and any other accessory of that nature that can be added after the fact, they do become like an endangered species. There is only a certain amount of them made and when that inventory runs out, it is gone.

These are limited edition items and most people don't even know they exist unless you were specifically looking for one.

Yes, I can beat MSRP on all items. I will send you a PM with price for the impact sensor. The Grilles would be ordered directly from Infiniti and then I would ship them out.

Well apparently no need for price check, the impact sensor is restricted distribution. I will call my contact @ the dealership tomorrow and see what is up with that.

hi,

what does "restricted distribution" mean?

ive seen these on ebay. they were exactly for the QX although when i saw the listings they were already completed.

so the grilles are limited edition? got it. id still like to see it in a real world/harsh light photo. on the above photo and in ones ive seen, the "midnight" isnt too "midnight".. looks like a gunmetal color.. which is not dark to me.

the grille is really expensive for a plastic grille. you can get a aluminum/steel custom grille for the price of this. still, i like the OEM infiniti look and am interested in the grille if the price is worth it to me.

i appreciate your assistance.

Well restricted distribution means they can't be ordered, not even through dealerships.

Price for the midnight black grille will be $439 shipped, MSPR is $449.

thank you.

well i was able to get the impact sensor from a dealer and its here with me now. so perhaps the restriction is geo-specific?

and let me ask you, if you know, why would nissan put this type of description on a part??? could it be recalled? have you ever seen this put on other parts from nissan before???

Very sharp looking, I would like to see the rims match the same color, that would look nice!

I know this thread is a bit old, but it is timely for me...

Does anyone know more about this midnight black grille color vs a "regular chrome oem" grille???
I just had my oem grille replaced on my 2011 QX56 after an accident and it looks like a dark or gun metal chrome vs what I would call "regular" bright chrome. It doesn't match the rest of the chrome trim around the grille or gills on the side.

yes its the midnight grille.

do you like it? how does it look on the car? i asked these questions in the thread you created and you can respond there but id like to see some real world photos of it. i would like to see if its worth the cost of 500 bucks....

thank you.
