just bought my midpipe from an 05 350z roadster...i was wondering if it was a direct swap out or was there need for modifications. a guy on g35driver said something about taking out the heat shield and cutting and welding needed of the crossbar (Drivers side) so it didnt touch the resonator..

bought the pipe for $80 shipped to me and got a quote on labor for $50..and i think the labor might be more since i ran across the mods that might need to be done.

The Z pipe is too short, you will need an extension piece. No need to weld or cut anything, you will have to "bend" the heat shield some so it doesn't rub.

+1. The g35 coupe MP is a direct replacement fit but the 350z MP is like 8" shorter.
