talk with boost_boy, he plays around with stand alone computers all the time, he should be able to help you, it shouldn't be hard to get a hold of him since he is always around.

Be prepared to hear him tell you that you should have gotten and SDS unit though! That's what he runs and he's very happy with it. Outside of that, yea, he knows his stuff and is the guy to talk to about standalone tuning.

You know the LTX8 comes with coil packs right? LT8 is without. If you want more info check out the AUS skyline forums. I found good info on there.

Same thing I went through with my friend's. His car runs with microtec, but it's not tuned to the point where he can turn flips. I hate the little screen with flashing #s, but he's also looking to use a laptop to get some tuning done as well.

thnx pulsar gtithis weekend 3 april there will be another race so ill go try to hit the 11 secsince i did only make 3 passes ,that was not enough to "tune" and to try different tire press.all the runs were made on 24.5-8-rim 13 m&h slicks and my best 60ft was 1.8so if i only make it a 1.6or 1.7 i know its gonna be a 11 sec run

How much does that corola weigh? As for the pics, set up an account in the "Memeber's ride's" section. Then put links up on your post.

Great job with the car man and sweet times. I bet with that light car and a bit more boost, you can do even better.

Then put links up on your post
A 78 corolla don't weigh much and a lot of rotary guys from the islands often bring their cars to Moroso to run and they do pretty good. I figure somewhere from 1800-2000lbs fully loaded.

Quote »2400lbs
Really! I'll assume this one is stripped and with rear end that he's using, the final drive must compliment his power perfectly.
