had a little annoying lifter chatter.........

went to advance auto to buy some oil, because gas is cheap I went for the good stuff and got some 10W30 royal purple instead of the 10W30 Mobile I normally run. I went to check out detergents as I have put 15k on my swap in the nearly 2 years Ive had it. They had a few engine restorers and such, but I didnt have the time to let the sea foam and such wait and work.

I found a yellow bottle that said lifter quieter(or something to that effect) and all it required was you put it in the oil once you had pre-heated the oil(did not even say it required to be fresh oil)......... so I tried it.

The bad news............ well my CA is now even quieter at idle ...... the royal purple seems to be real nice and I have to say it was kinda pretty . My chatter is eliminated and my car is pulling harder than ever.

not saying it will work for everyone, but it is def worth a try. AWESOME stuff.

I think it's funny she thought oil was pretty. Regardless, glad to hear you got your noisy lifters quieted down. I wish I could figure out what's making mine do it...

no comment of...... "you can change my oil?" or anything else......

seriously who am I going to let change my oil? I can count, I can apply 5 pounds or so to let the plug loose and Im smart enough to go buy oil without drinking it.....

my biggest issue is having the attention span to do it ...... or getting the guys at advance to not look at me like I dont know what Im talking about.

its easy...... I just let the oil plug out and drive to the store real fast well the oil is draining
