Decided I needed to post a few snaps of the new bay. I need to find a compelling setting to take some shots of the new hatch.

I need a new radiator and a diverter panel to be fairly satisfied with under the hood (read: back to how it was in my coupe).

Enjoy:

Old school TBO coldpipe (thanks Chris!!) I will in fact enjoy the motor sports!

Those that got the new car in the road:Thanks to Cisco, Lalo, Mallory, Steve, Travis, Zach, Trevor, Ryan and all others that got my car back to me!

Only shot I have of the exterior. It now has a matte black roof and a nice wax job.

RIP:

My old one was aluminum. It was hella nice and almost $200 shipped. The new TBO one is mild steel, but is honestly WAY better made. The super cool thing is I have an old Car Boy from the mid ninties that has that TBO cold pipe in it, lol. Plus, it only cost me $25 shipped (gotta love Nico hook ups!)

It has been like 4 years since I had the stock IC piping so I really can't remember, lol.

I'm probably going full custom hot and cold pipe.

2ich and 2.5ich aluminum with my brand new Arc smic shoud be really great.

Looking into smic watersprayer too.

I too have an M070 ARC sidemount. I had a watersprayer on my old stock one back in the day, but I never get heatsoak on my ARC, even at 15psi in Texas summer heat.

It is a vintage Nismo one. I got it from PandaGarage.com about 3 years ago. My gf at the time got me the matching rear one. At least she was good for something.

So no, it belonged to some tiny Asian then to me. No Ryan stench to deal with, lol.

man your old engine bay used to ball so hard with simplicity and uber cleanliness.

how come back to the unmodified timing cover in the new bay?

You need a significantly more baller radiator.

Ryan stench = the smell of awesome.

My STB was the cheapest one I could find on eBay for an S13, then I bent it straight, and then put a bend back in it to clear the intake manifold. (My father in law owns a shop with a hydraulic press) I think it cost me $50 and took about 10 min.

Hood dampers (the mounts are no longer available in small amounts, so I had to get ball studs off eBay and get creative):zerothread?id=293203

Hood prop:zerothread?id=215476

And the under hood, save for the radiator and the diverter panel, is identical from car to car. The black vs. the white is the only signifigant difference. So it is all an optical illusion. In person, the black looks wwwaaayyy better. And yes: a radiator is up next after tires and fixing my damn leaking power steering rack.

Oh wow. I am about 10 minutes away. Intersection of Marsh and Rosemeade in Carrollton. I was totally by your place yesterday afternoon at the Starbucks next to Barnes and Noble on Preston haha.

You are at half way from my home to work. I work right by DFW airport. I used to live on Hebron & Josey and moved to Plano about 4 years ago. I'm very familiar with that area. When I worked in Addison, I passed by Marsh and Rosemeade everyday. I used to go to car wash place on NE corner of Marsh & Rosemeade almost every weekend too. That's cool, man. We should meet up sometimes.
