not a huge fan of the micro tec...seen several units just up and burn out.a friend was using one on his rx7, he put it into test mode and it would not come out of test mode no matter what he did it ended up back at microtec and him with a refund.

a buddy of mine ran his 25 on one for awhile and made decent power (~580whp). Had issues with spark on higher boost, forgot what it ended up being. Motor finally went due to crank collar cracking the pump.

yes sir. He even took his microtech off that setup and wired it up to his 2JZ when he had it.

He was a fan of it, I wasn't. Another buddy ran one on his EVO3 and made decent power as well, but that car was unreliable as is.

its a good system, I personally don't have much hands on experience with them, so take my input lightly. But i think it's a go.

You need an lt12s not a 10... 12s is for 6 cylinder 3 rotor applications and works in conjunction with the x-6 box ignitor, and 6 bosch coils. I have a brand new EXTRA if you seriously buy one I can sell you for cheaper.

Microtech is extremely basic and simple. It powers rotaries into the 7's... However there are a few functions I wish it had.

Dislikes

- no standard 5v input for wideband connection/datalogging. (this option is $150au extra YOU MUST ASK BEFORE YOU BUY)- doesn't have the ability to upload/download/change maps/save maps to PC-lacks the ability to cycle through maps w/o being connected to the car itself-better US based dealers who can service the ECU (CFT tuners DO NOT speak english....)-has no built in boost controller-limited tech support

Likes-proven to be able to handle power-easy to tune with-relatively cheap-had no issues wiring it up. (I actually learned a TON doing this myself)

These are some of the few things I don't like about my mircotech unit. If I was a baaler Id have bought a Motec M6... but I'm not.

Jazz was the deciding factor I went with a Microtech FYI.

hmm, ok well what are you asking for it? i will not be able to keep my split fires and it will not have the factory ignitor? dose it use a cas or crank trigger for the pick up? map or maf based?

3 Bar Map based, uses standard CAS, you can most likely wire up your stock ignitor and coils. They recommend using theirs however.

I think Fito(587whp) also used a Microtech. They probably like the microtech from using them on the RX-'s.. those Puerto rico boys love them rotary's.

Its just the x-6 ignitor box I have for sale. I just checked the prices and they came way down. I think I'll just hold onto my spare just incase. Thanks tho.
