as im getting ready to put my new superbrites on my 92 q45, i saw those small pits all over the headlight casing.

i tried mothers polish, blue magic, and cureall steelwool to the test, but nada...

how can i buff this part out? i did the rear section by hand using the same products mentioned above and turned out like showroom finish. but the headlight section is different,

any experience on this part anyone?

It's glass and must be replaced to be rid of the pits.

Check out another thread in this forum called "Hard Water Spotting" there's a lot of advice about abrasivies and what you can do with them. Also a link to a Yahoo Club that's centered around auto detailing. I found a pretty good discussion about this very topic over there last night...
