michigan smog laws

hey i live in california but im really thinking about moving to michagan b/c mi basically grew up in canton. i have a 240 with a sr20., i was wondering if you can have modified cars in michagan

as far as i know.... there are none.. i lived there for 14 years and ive never seen my parents have to go and get their cars tested. Not sure, you can check on the net tho. Just like search google. Good luck to you!

I don't think there are smog laws in michigan, when I lived there up until the begining of this school year and my car has no cat and I know a lot of people who run no cat as well.

Smog laws? In Michigan? Surely you jest good sir. This is the land of the big three... you can drive around with a fully modified car, no exhaust whatsoever, no hood, no body for all the cops care. So long as you have a seatbelt on, you are fine.
