I was wondering where all of the MI RB's were... thought it might be cool to see some of the other ones around here. I have a fair amount of time coming up here in the next few weeks and wouldn't mind seeing some RB's since mine is chilling back in NC.

Let me know... we can set something up.

Oh, and auto-x at Birch Run (sp?) Expo center next weekend FYI... be cool to see some RB's out there.

i saw both you bastards at the xceed bbq today. you were leaving as i rolled in the lot in my buddies GLI jetta.. i was dissapointed. i wanted to see your swap! i am one of the 3 i would imagine. im buying a PFC in like 1.5 weeks. PFC, commander, boost solenoid. after that i just have to afford install $. by then, it will be time to park the ***** though... goddam michigan bullshat winters. so im stuck rocking the civic. i hope ppl understand...

EDIT: btw, im in the rochester area.

The bbq got pretty boring after a while, so we all went and had some fun on the freeway. I was taking alex for a ride and a cop fallowed me back to were everyone was, but for some reason i didnt get pulled over.

There is a kid that just got out of high school that has had his rb25 sitting at payne/godspeed/tuning factory for about 2 years now and still doesnt run. its the black 97 if you go there. Hes kinda a tool so i never talk to him.

there is also a guy who had an sr20 but blew it and swaped in an rb25 but it doesnt run yet. Looks exactly the same as alex's but thie guy has a greddy intake mani.

and then there is you

Interesting...

I was just at Rodchester Mills for a few beers and pool last night actually...

Well, next weekend's auto-x at Birch Run should be free (they said something about 5 bucks if the budgit is looking poor, but I doubt they'll charge for this particular auto-x). It was a really good course last time I was there... come on out if you want. I think they were saying in the meeting that they 5 dollar charge might be for when they have a drag day down at Milan (sp?) now that I think about it.

If people need help with their swaps up here let me know... I'll help the best I can...

yeah brent, i saw that black kouki up there. he has almost the same set up i have right now. i've heard it has been around, but just sitting for quite some time. i was talking to a kid earlier in the summer at woodward about the swap. he said godspeed was building an ca18 for him, but im not sure what happened. havnt seen the kid since. the car wasnt at the shop eithor. i find it hard to keep track of what everyone is driving. i just cant stay up to date. i suck.

I would go to the autocross but i wouldnt run, my car sucks at turning and is all top end so it would be the worst possible setup for it.

the kid who was having the CA18 build for him was dave, he has a s13 coupe. The kid with the blakc kuiki is matt. It was at payne for a year and a half and they messed the harness up really abd when it was there and then tom told him to pay, and tow the car away since he was sick of eworking on it

^^ haha, tom is a duesche. ive had a couple bad experiences with those guys. they like to blow people off.

i would love to auto-x my civic. for a little fwd, it handles damn nicely, but i need to replace both cv's. clikity clack all damn day. we'll see how it goes.

Feel free to run what you got... the guy down the street from me is running his Saturn sedan... definitely nothing special about it, but he just wants to auto-x and that's what he has... the winner doesn't get anything, so bring what you've got for a good time.

Both cars look really clean... my style Lucky... what's holding you up on the swap now? You could run it without the PFC I'm sure...

Definitely come up regardless... I'll just be hanging out and won't be running anything since I'm sporting a Pathfinder up here right now... BFG AT's and high CG aren't exactly cut out for Auto-x.

(lucky7) I see in your link that you have the Greddy sidemount intake. . . I was wondering what FMIC kit that you used to go to it or did you custom make that part? Also, where did you get yours? Shopping for one myself. . sorry to threadjack. . .

Do they have a web site? If so, do you have the link?

yer damn skippy its gettin big. its my damn shelf!! but seriously. ordering a PFC in about 2 weeks. then they can start the install process. needless to say, im freakin excited. just too bad there will be snow on the ground by the time its finished. matts car is the black one i would assume?? any chance they dynoe'd it yet? thankfully he's up first. he has basically the same set up as me, so i will most likely use his basemap. that should save me a few bucks for now. ive got enough $ tied up in this car right now. you get your car on they dyno yet? sounds like an absolute monster.

yeah matts is the black one. they dynoed it yesterday, but i had to go so i didnt see what he made. Setup and install look pretty nice. most of its time there was spent sorting out payne's hacked wiring job. Your car is in good hands i would say, the new shop looks sweet. their entire parking lot is filled with cars waiting to get worked on

I got my car partially dyno tuned. I installed hks 272 duration cams and made 3 runs on 18psi just to get it going on mazdaspeeds mustang dyno and put down 419rwhp. There may be a few more left in it, im going back to fully tune it on thursday.

mazdaspeed is a division of mazda, they were the ones who made the mazdaspeed proteje, mazdaspeed miata, mazdaspeed 6. Its not a tuning shop, its part of mazda

As far as i have heard its coming out in the spring. It puts out very similar numbers as the evo and sti and costs about 6 grand less. 274hp awd 2.4l inline 4

important pars of my setup are:

equal length t4 flanged manifoldgerrett gt35r with 1.04 hotside, q trim wheel, and to4r cover720cc top feed injectorsRB26 fuel railhks 272 duration cams with stock cam gears and removed VTCside feed intake manifold with velocity stacks90mm throttle bodySome type of tuning system (dont know what its called, but works wonders)3 inch flared to 3.5 inch downpipe flared to 4 inch mid pipe flared to 4.5 inch exhaustspearco front mountcozmo fuel pump

there is other stuff, but not that would really make a difference on how much power you will put out
