Hey everyone, i bought a set of winter tires last year and i put weights to weigh the car down but i kind of cheaped out and got myself a set of Hankook tires. crappy decision on my part so i'm deciding to be safer than sorry and am going to replace it and i know its either going to be the X-ice or Blizzaks. i used to have the X-ice on my last car and it was awesome but that was a front wheel drive car so i'd rather get some input. X-ice or Blizzak. I live in southern ontario so winter can be pretty brutal sometimes.

Yeah you guys already get a good load of white stuff few days ago. I can't wait to see some here. It is play time.

Anyways people here love blizaks. Tirerack is actually puts the Dnlop to the #1. Another thing is to go with 17's. Bigger you go the harder it gets.

I don't know anything about michelin x-ice, but I had blizzaks on my G sedan 6MT last winter and had no problem driving in deepest snow.

Blizzaks are really good. I'd go with those. Personally, I think Michelin makes a good tire, but I think you pay too much for the name.

Blizzaks for sure being from the 2nd snowiest city in the lower 48. And if you don't have the 17s, find a cheap, used set for winter. With bigger rims, well you should know, you live in the snow.
