Just a heads up for anybody interested.

Discount Tire has Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 - 245/40ZR-19 98Y XL @ $218ea. +tax +install +reg. compliance fees. These are pretty well liked tires from what I can gather and were original equip. on many HP cars. Since my RE050A's are nearing the end of their life I decided to pick up a set of these and give them a try. My total ended up about ~$980 (including 9.3% tax) out the door which is way cheaper than I've seen these tires in the past. They are a special order and will take about a week to get to my local Discount Tire.

So, if you have a Discount Tire close, don't live anywhere near snow or cold, and need tires for your stock 19" Sport rims for these may be worth looking into.

These should be excellent to outstanding summer tires indeed (note: I do not have personal experience with them, but someone I trust has said good things)!

The price is excellent. So, if you are in the market for summer tires, go for these.
