Michelle Bachmann represents everything that is wrong with the Republican Party.

The sooner it can shed nutcases like her, the sooner it can regain some measure of political viability.

She was unbelievably obnoxious to James Carville at the RNC when she asserted that because he disagreed with her he was somehow sexist. This is the man who was CAMPAIGNING FOR HILLARY. Sexist? Really?

EDIT: If she loses her race, I will quite seriously throw a party. I will take pictures of said party and send them to Bachmann. She is a scourge.

Her loudmouth attention-whore ways appear to be finally getting her in trouble.

I heard Bachman's response from the debates held by Minnesota Public Radio and her campaign ad (with heart in hand.) I thought she did a good job to apologize for the comment without really apologizing for what was said.To be honest, what she said seems to me to be tacky, but the Public Outrage that the comments have garnered? Give me a ****ing break. This was no where near the level of McCarthyism, of holding public hearings, trumping up communist charges for Hollywood directors and blacklisting them. The difference is this; she thought that the media should look into the Congressional Delegation's possible anti American views. She didn't user her Congressional powers to call for hearings where the Federal Government would look into the lives of private citizens who have done no wrong.Bud

That said, I sincerely hope she loses her seat and becomes a public laughingstock. She is everything the GOP DOESN'T need right now, and I'm really hoping the GOP remakes themselves in the near future. I'd like to be able to vote for them again.

Her comments appear to have hurt her race. The opponent was begging for cash prior to the MSNBC show. Now groups have infused a million dollars into his coffers. She is behind in the polls where it appeared to be that she was running away with the race and certain Republican groups have come out against her. This is shaping up to appear like it will cost her the election.
