Hitman, it's hard not to inject politics when the topic of the thread is about a political figure. It's clear that Moore's movie is not expected to sway hard core republicans. It is more targeted toward swing voters. Listen, even a mildly educated viewer should easily know that Moore is adding his opinions to the facts, as do many other entertainment venues. But many of the facts he raises (and they are facts), are clearly disturbing. If you've watched any interviews with Moore, he readily admits injecting his opinions, (after all he wrote and directed it). I'm not a hard core conservative republican, but I'm not afraid to listen to Rush Limbaugh/Tony Snow for fear of be brainwashed. Not only is Moore is a talented filmmaker, Roger and me was a good movie, plus Moore's newest movie garnered not only good reviews, it also won at Cannes. (Okay here comes the cheap shot about the French) It's clearly provacative subject matter, but it seems silly to me to condemn a piece of work without seeing it.
And nuq. I agree with everything you said.
