I saw BOOM's posted in my thread recently. Many members are missing. wirelessalpha, boom, cparker, mottabam...etc. I guess ishkabibble finally left us. I haven't seen their posts for a long time. Are you guys still there, but just lurking? I hope you guys are doing well and still have 240 vert. Can anyone think of any other MIA members?

I'm around and check this forum once in a while. I'm actually moving to Portland, OR soon, and will eventually be able to get a house with a garage.

Still love my NX! It will be quite a while before I get another vert - after I have a garage, next up is either a B13 Sentra w/ motor swap, or 510.

I miss BOOM's posts!

I was going to add Mickey (110octane) but after he came to his senses, convinced wifey to keep the vert, he has come back.

I don't think I have seen Greg (AZHitman) lately either...

Yeah, Greg hasn't posted in vert forum for a while. It's about time to show up and submit pictures for the calendar. 110octane should do the same too.

I just check too every now and then. Lately I have been on a massive hunt for 17x9 4 luggers.

Yes, jrd. You've been missing too.

Staggered or all the way around? RBWheels have 3 staggered sets. They are 4-5 lug universial. I vote for Esfida.

I couldn't agree more!

17x9 four luggers aren't extremely hard to find, aside from second hand JDM sites, check companies like MB Motoring, 5 Zigen, and other lesser companies, unless you have a pretty big budget. If you have the latter, most major wheel companies (Work, Volk, etc.) Will offer most of their wheels in 4 lug and almost any offset.

I think Rota also make custom wheels too, but you have to be patient. I'd like to see 4 lug 17x9 P45R.

Oh nah, I've just been looking for deals on 4 luggers. I was looking into 17x9 fox body rims since they're 4 lug. But they're 4x4.25 (108), yet i've found some sites that sell 4x4.5 (114.3). Only thing is that they're just as heavy as steelies.

Something about rockin' huge 4 lugs I like alot. Seems more rare and the fact that you gotta dish out $300+ for 1 extra lug bothers me.

JRd, unfortunately, there are three things to consider when picky wheels. Price, Quality and Weight, you can only pick two of the three. Decent cheap wheels wont be light, Light cheap wheels (if they exsist) wont be strong, and then you get down to good, light wheels, which are always expensive

You can get all 3 if you are FWD.

Hey guys, good to see some of you still remember me. Haha. Hope everything is good with you, 94 and Ish. I've been real busy and stuff doing this and that. So many things going on nowadays. I occasionally lurk every now and then but when I saw all the cool stuff 94 did to his vert, I knew I had to post something.

And I've still got the vert. It's still going strong. Haven't done much to it because I'm not really sure what I'm gonna do with it anymore. I considered selling it to get something more practical to dd but then I got a beater Jeep Grand Cherokee...sort of a hand-me-down.

Then I was going to sell it and use the money towards buying a partially complete '69 Camaro from a guy I know but that deal fell through.

So yeah, I'm still undecided. If I do keep it, I'm only going to start a build when I've got the time without the restraints and when I feel I'm truly ready. I don't wanna take shortcuts or do things here and there. When I start, I want to go all out and right now, that's not really possible. It'll probably be a long time until anything serious happens.

Oh yeah I used to keep in touch with Chi (wirelessalpha) but I lost his sn...dunno how that happened.

just saw this thread.

i've had my vert for about a year now, just got to swapping in a motor within this past week after a year of part-collecting haha.

I should have it running by about the 15th of this month. After that I'm going to reassemble the body, primer it, and try to take a few pics for the calendar submission.

In the mean time on pretty days I have taken this out a few times. I still miss my 240 though, you can see it behind it.

Oh, well... You know you gotta do what you gotta do. But, consider keeping the vert. You might regret it after you get rid of it. I didn't do anything for the first 7 years and finally started working on it. Keep us posted...

I'm just one of those guys who just can't seem to make up his mind. Sometimes I tell myself I'll get rid of it and then I go for a drive and I'm reminded why I love this car so much even though she's rough around the edges.

But yeah I'll keep your 7 year wait in mind. I'll remind myself to be patient.

I remember Dex posting about him going to some remote part of his state (or the country dont remember exactly) where internet was not a very common thing. Don't know about Bart.

Bart moved to Illinois and is joining the military I think. Dex has spotty internet access. Hopefully he'll get that solved soon. I miss him being around.

Here's my deal.

Moved to a house in the boonies spring/summer of '07 and haven't had internet ever since - it's just too expensive to get it where my house is.

So my main source of internet became work. No problem - it got me by just fine.

Then I got laid off in December (2008). I'm still not back to work and still have EXTREMELY limited internet access. When I do get a chance to get online, it's usually to check my email, look for a job, and keep up with my car club's website.

I'm doing fine though - not much going on with the vert with the unemployed income, but when things get back to normal (someday), the vert will get some much needed TLC.

Don't worry guys, I won't forget about you.

yoooo hoooo 94_240sx!

I never left yah brotha. Still here...although admittedly, not as often.

The last year and a half I have been dealing with major financial issues, along with a fractured collar that left me unable to shift a gear. Anyways, rehab is done...I can do pushups and crap like I did before...and surprise surprise...I took the vert (of course I still got it!) out of storage and it's now at a buddies shop to get worked on.

I need to hurry fast b/c drift season is back next month!

I'm a (that's a zerg lurker for people who don't know starcraft)

I moved to Illinois a while ago after I lost my job. I'm in the process of applying for officer training school with the Air Force. My app is off to the selection board as we speak and I should hopefully be hearing back from them within a few weeks on whether or not I was selected. If I am selected, I'll probably be shipping off to Maxwell AFB for 3 months of basic either mid July or early September. It boils down to class rotation and when I can take my flight physical at Scott AFB.

I still check in on the vert forum, I just haven't been actively posting for a while. I'm doing the same in 240 gen and RWD SR. Making sure the problem children are in line, but really participating the way I usually do.

wireless, I thought sold the vert and moved on. Glad to hear that you are in good shape now. Update your project thread when you get a chance.

hijacker, there's been some stupid argument going on in 240 gen chat and no one stepped in to stop them. I missed you there.

Alright, I hope things go well with both of you.

It sure is. I just did a google image search and it was one of the first hits.

94, I'm not sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day like I used to, so I'm in 240 gen sporadically. We have a few mods that help keep an eye on things there, but things do go unchecked unfortunately.
