I have a 1994 Q45, with a Manufacturing date of 2/93. I didn't think the new model was even manufactured, then. The dates is on the sticker in the driver's door frame.

Is this common?

What is your mfg date?

Yes, thats entirely normal.

It takes a couple of months for a car to arrive at dealer from factory and the 94 was an "early" model year anyway, as Infinti was eager to present it with all its updates.

That's strange. I'm about 90% sure my 93 had a manufacturing date of 3/93.

The new part numbers came out 7/92, but cars are known after that date which have the old guides. We all presume old style guides were used up until exhausted.

more ont hsi subject cna be found on our old homepage which is still up. A link is in my sig search in "infinit articles" for "guides"

Yes, I thought that was strange, when I saw it. I am most definitely sure it is a '94. All the model information printed everyware on the car says so, and the body is a '94. It drives like a '94, not a '90 to '93.

Just thought I would ask to see if anyone else had such an early date code for that model year.

Why wouldn't they build the last 93 at the same time as starting 94............unlike US where they shut down for a month.........so our guys don't get confused.

Quella was born 5/95 (which makes her probably one of the later 95 models to be built).
