the vqpower.com how to is good but...i need more simple. the more i read the less i understand. why use an rpm switch? how is it operated on cars with mevi stock? i thought it opened because of the vacuum changes...guess not?

im not positive but from what ive read hear goes.....having the RPM switch allows for to set the mevi to "activate" at a certain rpm, say 4500, and will allow for somewhat of a boost at that point

yeah, but what makes it open and when on a car that comes with it stock?

Well in stock for its triggered by the ecu similar to the DEK manifold. A simple rpm switch will take care of it.
